PageRank of the page

The new key to off-page SEO? You need to create content that other
people find valuable and want to share with their visitors. Links within long-form, evergreen content are also more valuable than links in short, news-based posts. The more you focus on Google and doing the right thing for website visitors,
the more you’ll win at SEO. Google’s web indexing system favors recently updated content, especially for time-sensitive searches. Generally speaking, the more QUALITY websites that link to you, the better. More website links bring more traffic, and that helps boost your web traffic. More importantly, Google counts every link to your website as a vote of sorts. If you get a lot of good “votes” from other relevant and reputable websites, Google will reward you with higher rankings in the search engine results and you’ll get even more visibility and traffic. Google generates far more traffic than any of the other search engines, including Bing(Microsoft), Yahoo and all the other search engines combined, so being high on the Google search engine results is what it’s all about!

PageRank of the page

Search engines have a limited ability to recognize images, animation, video and audio. Remember the good old days of SEO, when all that you really needed to have “valid SEO content” was a certain number of words crossed with a certain percentage targeted keywords and punctuated by a few words linking to targeted pages? Search analytics is a new and emerging category of tools. Search analytics tools specifically monitor how your website interacts with the search engines. As time goes on, technology will make it easier and easier to interpret the meaning behind a search query. This will lead to SEOs being able to generate content and offer advice that caters to a much more specific audience and satisfies their needs more completely. Generally speaking where a user is asking a question as part of their search query the results will return a featured snippet. In order to find opportunities for featured snippets we need to go back to keyword research to find suitable terms, the higher volume key phrases should be used as a basis for further research as you’ll then often see better opportunities in the “People also ask” section with more specific questions being asked that offer much better opportunities for featured snippets.

Keep the length of your post in mind

Duplicative or unnecessary website content can also hold you back from your true ranking potential. If nobody has heard of your brand or company name (and it’s not part of the important keyword phrases) put it at the end of the title tag. So if a consumer hears a message somewhere and then decides to search on Bing to get more information, many times the advertiser isn’t present, and that consumer ends up taking a different path than what the advertiser would have desired. How are you supposed to do it?

Gaz Hall, a Freelance SEO Consultant from SEO Hull, commented: "Directory Submission is important to Search Engine Optimization, especially for younger websites that don’t have links built all over the Internet already. It is an easy and free part of the Search Engine Optimization process which many novice webmasters ignore. If you want your website to succeed, don’t forget those directories." If your site has a blog with public
commenting turned on, links within those comments could pass your
reputation to pages that you may not be comfortable vouching for. Google won’t penalise duplicate content. Instead it will decide which version of the duplicate post should appear in search results and ignore the other. Dramatic growth in the interaction between offline and online marketing necessitates investment by organizations of all kinds in a successful search strategy. A variety of studies support the idea that Google incorporate social signals when ranking a webpage.

Focus on topics instead of keywords

“Social search” is an evolving term for the way
in which search engines factor a user’s social
network -- also referred to as social graph -- into
how results are displayed after a search query. The more popular and important a site is, the more links from that site matter. A site like Wikipedia has thousands of diverse sites linking to it, which means it's probably a popular and important site. Once you are done with cleaning up all the toxic backlinks pointing to your site, you need to file a reconsideration request with Google. This has to be polite and detailed, stating that you admit the mistakes you have committed, explaining the steps that you took to correct the same and promising to use nothing, but best practices for link building and SEO. An organic search strategy that involves a dedicated consumer focused approach is highly recommended. This entails total brand presence and not just keywords, understanding customer behavior, consumption preferences, needs and conversion paths. When your website or website’s content gets shared on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, and YouTube, it is considered a social signal or citation.

Invest in SEO

Keep your sentences short. Make sure that no more than 25% of your sentences contain more than 20 words. Also, keep your paragraphs short. Make sure each paragraph doesn’t exceed the recommended maximum of 150 words. From a usability point of view, it makes sense to ensure that your website is mobile-friendly as over 56% of all traffic now comes from mobile devices. This means that if you want to keep those users engaged then you need a mobile-friendly website. SEO is marketing. It’s important that it be presented and treated as such, no matter how important a technical foundation is to the discipline. Sometimes, your blog simply doesn’t get the attention and the traffic you want it to get. If neither your ranking nor your SEO has changed, you probably just need to put in a little bit of effort A shallow, highly crawlable link structure is critical to getting all of your content indexed—follow good information architecture practices.
